In Institutional Healing, Gutta works with what we consider as a simultaneous play between sincere and ironic belief in that we can change something by devoting time to each other. In Institutional Healing, first presented at The Oslo National Academy of the Arts, we take on the role of advisers, life coaches and healers with the entitlement of a white heterosexual cis-man. This work looks at how western patriarchy affects us all and specifically how it shows in the institutions we work in.
We want Institutional Healing to be a work you can book when you wish for an activistic performance that can change, heal or disturb norms in your institution or organization.
